Burger king immortalizes its cheese burger in eye shadow
Burger King’s latest foray into visual advertising introduces a
new wave of possibilities for using makeup and other cosmetics to promote a
brand or service. The above image, attributed to Burger King Netherlands, features an
artistic rendition of a cheeseburger onto a woman’s closed eye.
A closer look reveals that the contours of the model’s eyes
perform specific representations of the burger; for instance, the lid serves as
the burger bun, the eyelashes are painted green for the lettuce, while the
lower eyelids are colored with dashes of yellow, red, and brown to render the
cheese, tomatoes, and burger patty, respectively.
